Responsibilities
1. Hire, lead and manage the Digital Backoffice software engineering team.
2. Define and execute the target application architecture in alignment with the business strategy and ensure that all team members share a unified vision.
3. Coordinate with enterprise architects, development leads and product managers to determine appropriate functionalities and implementation.
4. Facilitate and coordinate architectural and technical discussions with engineers to collaboratively define best-in-class solutions.
5. Research and evaluate software related technologies and products.
6. Implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies and ensure compliance with the documented software processes and procedures throughout the life cycle of software products.

16. Strong understanding of Software Design Patterns and Integration Design Patterns,
17. In-depth experience with messaging platform.

19. Expertise in Angular and related front-end technologies.
20. Strong expertise in Microsoft development technologies, including .Net Core.
21. Experience with MS SQL Server or similar, especially in performance related areas.
22. Experience with Testing and CI; TDD, automated unit/functional/integration testing
23. Experience working with Scrum teams.
24. Knowledge in mobile development is highly valued.
25. Knowledge of Internet Security is desirable.
26. Experience with Tax Free Shopping (Merchant related) is a significant advantage.

Qualifications and education requirements

35. 5+ years’ experience as Development Lead.
36. 5+ years’ experience as a senior level software developer with strong and successful technical lead experience.
