Senior Independent Validation Specialist (f/m/x)
The Group Risk Data Integration team ensures compliance with the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision's (BCBS) principles for risk data aggregation and reporting. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as expertise in risk management, data analysis, and regulatory compliance.

Your role at RBI
1. Independently validate the accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of risk data aggregation capabilities and risk reporting practices.
2. Ensure compliance with BCBS 239 principles, relevant regulatory standards, and internal regulations.
3. Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of the bank’s methods, processes, and systems related to risk data aggregation and reporting.
4. Identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and risks, develop corrective action plans, and provide preventive guidance for the future.
5. Provide regular detailed reports to keep senior management and other stakeholders informed about the compliance efforts and progress.
Your core competencies
6. University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. An advanced degree or certification (e.g., FRM, CFA) is of advantage.
7. At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role within a banking or financial institution.
8. Extensive knowledge of BCBS 239 principles and other relevant banking regulations.
9. Demonstrated Business Analytical Know-how with strong Technical Proficiency.
10. Understanding of Modern Architecture Principles in a banking context.
11. Strong analytical skills for assessing and interpreting complex data.
12. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
