Caravan Branch - Production Manager + Sales
$80,000 – $90,000 per year + High Commission
About the role
We are searching for an experienced Caravan Production/Branch Manager to join our dynamic team at Arctic Campers in Maddington, Western Australia. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for overseeing the efficient production and assembly of our high-quality caravans. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations of our manufacturing facility and contribute to the overall growth and success of our business.
We have one of the best commission structures in the industry. $100,000 in commission should be expected to the right candidate.
What you'll be doing
* Manage and supervise the caravan production team, providing leadership, training and support
* Develop and implement efficient production processes and workflows to maximise output and minimise waste
* Monitor production targets, quality control and safety standards to ensure all caravans meet our high-quality specifications
* Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to identify process improvements and implement innovative solutions
* Manage inventory, logistics and supply chain to ensure all necessary materials and resources are available to meet production demands
* Liaise with the sales and customer service teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into effective production plans
* Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards and environmental policies
* Provide regular reporting and analysis on production metrics, KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
What we're looking for
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar production management or supervisory role, preferably within the caravan, RV or manufacturing industry
* Strong technical understanding of caravan design, assembly and production processes
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills to optimise production efficiency
* Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
* Proficient in using production management software, data analysis tools and ERP systems
* Tertiary qualification in engineering, manufacturing or a relevant technical discipline would be highly regarded
