For our IT Team based in Klaus (Vorarlberg, Austria) we are currently looking for a IT Security Operations Analyst, 80-100% (f/m/x).
What's it all about?
* You are responsible for operating and continuously improving IT security systems as a Security Operations Analyst.
* You support the planning, implementation, and integration of security solutions for threat detection (e.g., SIEM, XDR, SOAR, Vulnerability Management).
* You monitor alerts generated by the deployed systems in accordance with defined guidelines.
* You analyze system alerts, evaluate them, and define appropriate countermeasures, including their prioritization.
* You coordinate the troubleshooting process with the responsible teams as part of the incident management process.
* You maintain IOCs in security-relevant systems and review as well as evaluate data from various intelligence communities.
What are we looking for?
* You hold a completed, relevant university degree (BSc, MSc) in Computer Science or a comparable IT-related field. Alternatively, you bring several years of solid professional experience in Security Operations that can compensate for formal academic training.
* You have at least four years of relevant professional experience in the IT field.
* Fields of knowledge:
o Knowledge of cyber security, IT security network analysis, incident handling and SOC systems.
o Broad IT knowledge in the various areas of information and communication technology (operating systems, network, firewall, email, EDR).
o Experience with query syntax languages (e.g. Lucene Syntax, KQL).
* You are characterised by a high level of resilience, stress resistance and a strong sense of responsibility.
* You have a very good command of German and English and are able to communicate clearly and appropriately - also when dealing with different stakeholders. You are also a strong team player.
