As a Commercial Executive, your ability to forge and nurture professional relationships in a fast-paced, high value sales environment will be paramount to making an impact. You will be motivated by understanding client needs, collaborating with business leaders, and engaging stakeholders to agree multimillion dollar solutions for enterprise customers who are transforming their organisations.
Your appreciation for the art of relationship management, understanding of customer strategies, and adeptness at constructing commercial agreements across technology solution areas will position you as a principal negotiator, at the core of securing deals with our customers.
This role demands a robust business acumen, an understanding of business operations, and the foresight to anticipate future industry trends and challenges. A keen sense of business analysis is crucial, enabling you to discern business requirements and craft effective solutions. The technical nature of the business, its industry relevance, and competitive positioning must be well-understood to navigate the market effectively and land deals that will shape how an organisation operates for years to come.
Responsibilities
* Achieving sales goals and execution metrics that ensure on-time and quality customer deals.
* Building enduring relationships with sales teams and customers, providing advice, consultation, and guidance in complex commercial scenarios, providing strategic direction to all stakeholders.
* Managing sales and management teams through sales process optimizing for the right level of investment and customisation.
* Designing and agreeing on the best commercial Volume Licensing deals through the definition and negotiation of commercial terms, whilst meeting customer needs.
* Defining and negotiating complex commercial terms, guiding the negotiation strategy by engaging with both external and internal stakeholders. Act as the primary negotiator to achieve successful deals with customers.
* Acting as the escalation point for discount deals or adjustments to customer contract terms and conditions.
* Managing any discounting or changes to Volume Licensing customer contractual terms.
* Collaborating with various sellers, both internally and externally to Microsoft, such as channel partners, Sales Specialists teams, Microsoft account teams, and other technical solution sellers to achieve revenue targets.
Qualifications
* Experience negotiating deals as an account manager or in a sales or procurement role.
* Regular interaction with executive level decision-makers.
* Experience working within enterprise scale organisations.
* Fluency in German and English, and able to use both in a professional environment.
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Law, Marketing, Finance (or equivalent) OR equivalent work experience.
The salary for this role is starting from 90,000 euros per annum depending on experience.
