As our new Operations Manager (Dispatch), you will share our positive approach to all you do and will lead your team with an ability to think quickly with a customer centric mindset.
The Role
In this hands-on role, you will lead a busy team of Dispatchers who work across a 24/7 roster. Supported by the Executive team, you can expect to be hands on with staff training and development, process improvement and escalated enquiries. Read on to learn more about what your weeks will look like!
How will you do this?
1. Operations Management including ensuring your team has efficient and safe systems, processes and ensure correctly allocated resources to deliver consistently fantastic customer service.
2. Work with the General Manager and Executive team for Strategic Planning activities and implementation and support your team through the implementation of process improvements.
3. Responsible for Personnel Management including staff supervision, coaching, development, disciplinary and performance evaluations.
4. Oversee Safety, Quality and Environmental standards ensuring each department is compliant with their relevant legislation or internal standard.
5. Financial Management alongside the CFO, including budgeting and financial reporting.
6. Oversee Technology and Systems management and data analysis, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
7. Think on your feet to make quick, logical decisions during emergency or high priority situations.
8. Ensure Reporting and Documentation is accurate and timely.
About You
Essential to this role is relevant experience to the above, with a strong understanding and demonstrated experience within a supervisory role in our industry. Ideally, you will have had exposure to a busy customer service centre.
