East Coast HDD is an underground directional drilling company based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. We specialise in trenchless techniques for the installation of conduits and pipelines beneath paths, driveways, roads, rail, airport runways, congested and environmentally sensitive areas.
Overview of the Position:
Responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure East Coast HDD maintains and improves established standards of safety, quality, environmental and production performance.
Obtain and develop personnel both on site.
Establish teams and manage professional progression of staff on an individual and team level.
Establish levels of remuneration for staff across the company with an emphasis on rewarding staff for high performance. Assist in tendering to prepare and issue tender submissions professionally.
Select project teams and assist field staff to adequately resource the projects.
Originate and lead human resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented high performance culture that emphasises empowerment, quality, productivity, standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
Responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organisation's business goals.
The Successful Applicant:
* Hold a relevant degree qualification or have extensive experience in a similar position
* Strong computing skills
* Hold an Australian driver licence
* Sound negotiation and conflict resolution skills
* Strong understanding of OHS
