Happy Haven OSHC is on the lookout for a vibrant and motivated Operations Support Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term role!
Happy Haven OSHC is a South Australian-owned and operated company managing 49 OSHC services across the state. We are an Approved Provider with an expert team capable of running outstanding OSHC programs on school sites.
The Operations Support Assistant plays a pivotal role in streamlining operations and providing comprehensive support to both staff and families within Happy Haven OSHC. This role will focus on roster management, family enrolment enquiries, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient processes and exceptional service delivery.
While this is a 12-month fixed-term position, there may be opportunities for the successful candidate to transition into another role within Happy Haven OSHC after the contract ends.
About the role:
* Support the Operations Support Manager in initial roster construction
* Ensure sufficient staff coverage to maintain rosters for all services and uphold compliance with ratio requirements
* Field incoming roster related calls and emails from Happy Haven OSHC staff members
* Respond promptly to calls and emails regarding family bookings and enrolments
* Maintain accurate records while upholding strict confidentiality standards
* Provide timely and empathetic support to families, staff and other stakeholders
* Contribute to the review of policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance
* Actively seek improvement opportunities and support team members as directed by senior leadership
Requirements:
* Experience in roster creation and maintenance
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities
* Proficiency in computer software packages and keyboard skills
* Attention to detail and adherence to administrative procedures
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
* Willingness to develop knowledge of Children’s Services Award 2010 and Education and Care National Regulations
* Willingness to develop knowledge of relevant state and federal government legal compliance requirements relating to the Child Care Subsidy, Additional Child Care Subsidy, and any other fee assistance measures available to users of OSHC, and the OSHC National Quality Framework
* Qualification in Business Administration or other related field (desirable)
* Hold or willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check (required)
* Hold or be willing to obtain Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RHHAN-EC) certificate (required)
