About the position:
We are seeking an Onsite IT & Network Support Engineer/Technician to handle casual freelancing tasks in your area. Would you be interested in working on a contractual basis? Assignments will be dispatched based on your location, and you can choose to support them as per your availability (weekdays or weekends).
Responsibilities include:
1. L1 & L2 IT/Networking tasks, such as desktop support.
2. Hardware installation and replacement (e.g., server/rack components like hard drives).
3. Conducting site surveys for IT infrastructure or networking requirements.
4. Providing on-site assistance for devices like routers, switches, and firewalls by enabling console access for remote support teams.

Preferred Skills and Expertise:
1. Proficient in System Desktop Administration, Customer Service, and Incident/Change/Release Management, with support experience for various third-party applications on Windows platforms.
2. Professionally trained and certified in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Windows Server Administration, with a focus on leveraging programming techniques for innovative tasks.
3. Foundational knowledge of DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, subnetting, and troubleshooting wireless LAN/Ethernet desktop configuration issues.
4. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting multiple operating systems, including iOS, Android, Windows, and Blackberry devices.
