Are you passionate about uncovering new opportunities that deliver tangible business value? Do you have the expertise to bridge the gap between business and technology, driving innovation and growth?

Responsibilities
Areas that play to your strengths
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
1. Embedded within an agile team, you'll be a proactive and collaborative team player. This includes demonstrating strong communication skills, working across diverse groups, and embracing entrepreneurial thinking. You'll be taking initiative, owning responsibilities (even those outside your immediate scope), and thriving in a self-organized environment. A strong analytical mindset and a commitment to continuous learning are essential, as is the ability to support others and to share responsibility during on-call rotations or unfamiliar tasks.
2. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their demands and translate them into effective solutions. This includes conceptualizing and communicating mental models across business domains, developing a deep understanding of each service, and orchestrating how services are integrated both within and across teams. To do this, you'll need a strong grasp of data flows and integration patterns, considering cross-cutting concerns such as security, observability, and scalability. Additionally, you'll support build-vs-buy decisions by conducting market research, understanding available internal functionalities, and working with product managers to prioritize initiatives based on technical feasibility.
3. One of your core responsibilities will be to lead domain modelling efforts using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) methodologies, such as event storming and context mapping. You'll guide the definition of clear system boundaries and service responsibilities, ensuring architectural decisions are aligned with the domain. This work requires active collaboration across functions to align on shared domain concepts and ensure consistency and clarity throughout the organization.
4. On the other hand, you'll support product ownership by contributing to the product backlog, writing detailed user stories, and defining acceptance criteria. You'll be acting as the primary contact for the development team, providing clarifications and ensuring that the team is aligned on the backlog. While no hands-on engineering work is expected, a foundational understanding of software development, data engineering, and AI is beneficial to facilitate communication with the team. You'll also have end-to-end responsibility for a service, including day-to-day operational support and maintenance.
5. Last but not least, you'll play an important part in driving data-informed decisions and fostering innovation. By supporting analytics efforts and engaging with stakeholders, you'll help the team harness data insights to guide strategy and improvements. Furthermore, you'll be expected to propose innovative uses of (Generative) AI and emerging technologies to unlock new business value and improve service offerings.
Minimum Requirements
* Proven experience as a Solution Architect, ideally in a media, data, or content-related environment
* Strong background in Domain-Driven Design (DDD), including hands-on application of methods like event storming and context mapping
* Experience in requirement engineering and stakeholder collaboration to translate business needs into technical solutions
* Degree in computer science with several years of relevant experience
* Fluent in English, German is a plus
* Experience in evaluating build-vs-buy decisions and conducting market research
* Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
* Basic knowledge of software engineering, data engineering, and AI, sufficient to discuss technical feasibility with development teams
* Communicative team player with an analytical mindset willing to take responsibility and drive topics
* Travel 0-10%
