Your role:
In the Head of Network Operations role, you will be responsible for the delivery of Managed Network Services to customers with Managed Services agreements. Such agreements cover a range of managed Network Services; including Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Wi-Fi, WAN services including SDWAN, SASE, SSE and other network security products.
The purpose of the role is to ensure that the provision of managed networks services to Brennan customers is made reliable, efficient, and constantly improves to meet the needs of our customers and the market.
Your key responsibilities:
* Single point of contact within the Managed Operations team for network related service delivery issues, across WAN, security, and LAN services
* Profit and Loss responsibility for the Network business
* Direct Management of the Core and specialist roles
* Drive efficiencies within the environment to improve customer satisfaction and increased cost optimisation
* Ensure reliability and credibility of all Managed Network services by reviewing any service failures that occur, performing root cause analysis, and applying permanent fixes
* Provide support to the Provisioning teams, ensuring customer focussed onboarding and successful management, coordination and communication to our external and internal customers
* Work with the Brennan Cyber Security team to ensure our network posture is appropriate to the service it provides and is aligned with the wider Brennan Cyber standards
* Manage, direct, develop, and motivate direct reports to ensure high levels of employee engagement and enablement
Key Skills and Qualifications you need for the role:
* Strong industry familiarity and experience in Network Managed Service offerings
* 10+ years work experience in operational ICT managed services
* Min 7 years people management experience
* Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Product Management, ICT Services, Business, or similar field
* ITIL V4 Certificate
* Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and mentor staff
* An attention to detail, with strong analytical and research skills and the ability to extract useful intelligence and insights from data and statistics
* Relevant Technical background across a broad range of technologies such as security, switching, routing, WIFI
* Experience in acting as senior escalation point for complex/ high impact issues
* Ability to form strong working relationships with key Managed Services stakeholders
* Experienced in vendor management
* Exceptional written communication skills, including the ability to distil key messages into clear, concise, and compelling communications to be consumed by all levels of audience
