We are the IT department of the REWE Group Austria, comprising over 700 employees who work together to develop innovative IT products and services for our corporate divisions in Austria and abroad.
We have a cross-functional team structure with four divisions: IT Consulting, IT Development, IT Operations, and IT Organization.
We create tailored solutions for clients and partners, driving digitalization in commerce - from store solutions and e-commerce to supply chains, marketing, and CRM.
Your Role
* You will be responsible for further developing our native Android app and a native Android white label solution.
* Implementing new features, prototypes, and PoCs is also part of your tasks.
* You will take care of selecting, integrating, and further developing technologies.
* You will contribute to designing workflows and usability features.
* You will work closely with interdisciplinary agile teams.
Requirements
* You should have completed a technical education (HTL, Uni, FH, or similar).
* You need experience in native Android app development.
* You should have knowledge of Kotlin, Java, and Android Lifecycle & Android Studio, as well as related technologies.
* You should have first experience with Jetpack Compose.
* You should have knowledge of Material design guidelines and enthusiasm for user experience and performance.
* You should have experience with JSON, GIT, and REST APIs.
* You should have first experience with agile software development with continuous integration, unit, system, and integration testing, UI automation testing.
* You should be a communicative team player with an independent and reliable working style.
* You should have very good English skills (team language is English).
