Our business is expanding through acquisition and organic growth and as a result we are seeking a candidate for the role of Agriculture Operations Manager within our Agriculture Operations Team.

About the role
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and hands-on leader who can manage and drive multiple projects and initiatives across our national footprint. With a primary focus on optimising the day-to-day operations to ensure farm activities, resources, and processes align with business objectives, regulatory standards, and sustainable practices while maximizing productivity and profitability.
In collaboration with the Chief Agriculture Officer, you will be responsible for:
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategies to maximise agricultural performance and sustainability.
* Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and adherence to environmental standards.
* Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance for agricultural projects.
* Sustainability Integration: Implement innovative practices aligned with the company’s commitment to sustainable resource management.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Cultivate strong relationships with investors, local communities, and industry partners.
* Team Development: Mentor others to foster innovation, operational excellence, and visible progress.
About you
Your extensive agricultural experience and exceptional leadership skills will enable you to drive value, safety and innovation across regional farming teams. You will also contribute insights and recommendations on proposed new investments.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* A bachelor’s or master’s degree in agriculture, Agribusiness, Natural Resource Management, or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience in agriculture operations or agribusiness management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
* Comprehensive understanding of Australian agricultural practices, regulations, and market trends.
* A proven track record in delivering sustainable operational results and managing large-scale agricultural assets.
* Strong financial acumen, with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
