Our client is Europe’s leading tofu producer, dedicated to shaping the future of food with high-quality, innovative, and sustainable plant-based products. As the company continues its dynamic growth across the continent, it aims to become the top player in every market it enters.
We are now seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial and growth-driven Commercial Director Europe (f/m/x) for shaping the future of food by developing the natural protein category.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE
* Create the industry leading European Category Management for natural plant protein products
* Build and drive a European sales and category management organization, developing a high-performing team culture focused on collaboration, accountability and results
* Build a compelling category vision for tofu and other natural plant-based protein products, inspiring internal teams, customers, suppliers and other key stakeholders
* Develop a product portfolio strategy that is both mainstream and innovative, driving customer value and increasing market share
* Oversee commercial planning and budgeting, including forecasting and expense control
* Strengthen partnerships and category management with key retail and food service customers to enhance long-term growth
* Improve internal commercial processes, ensuring operational excellence and scalability
* Monitor shopper and market trends, using data insights to inform strategy and track sales performance
* Manage a team of 40 professionals in 8 countries
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
* Master’s degree, ideally in Economics, Food Engineering or equivalent experience
* At least 15 years of experience in sales and market development within a multinational FMCG environment
* Background in the food industry (preferably chilled, ready-to-cook, or related categories)
* Proven experience with category management, CRM systems and market analysis tools such as Nielsen and GfK for data-driven decision-making
* Strong command of lean processes, especially Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to improve efficiency and alignment
* Passion for health, nutrition and sustainability with a deep understanding of current food and consumer trends

Our client offers a competitive annual gross salary starting at €150,000 with willingness to overpay based on qualifications and experience.
