Join our team as a Junior Strategic Procurement Manager and take the next step in your career! We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to support our Indirect Procurement Manager in managing selected indirect categories such as mobile communication, fleet, travel, and more.
In this role, you will play a key role in driving cost optimization, effective supplier management, and risk mitigation in alignment with our company's goals. You will have the opportunity to enhance our procurement support to other departments and categories while striving for further efficiency and effectiveness gains.

1. In this role you'll be responsible for identifying improvement opportunities within different spend categories by conducting thorough data analysis and fostering strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to execute sourcing initiatives, leading negotiations to secure favorable contracts, terms, and conditions for our organization. In addition to your procurement responsibilities, you will also be involved in evaluating vendors, with a special focus on performance, value for the business, sustainability, and risk. Your expertise in vendor evaluation will help us maintain high standards in supplier selection and ensure the long-term success of our partnerships.
2. You'll work closely with the fleet team to develop strategies and actions to optimize our car fleet. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to share global category strategies with our subsidiaries, ensuring that we maximize category opportunities and effectively manage risks. As part of our HQ Global Procurement team, you will also help with local data provision and reporting.
3. You'll develop the indirect procurement organization & processes and also intensify the collaboration with neighbouring departments for a close alignment and view on vendors, spend and categories. You'll also establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate procurement performance.
4. Another task of this job will be to monitor and control spending within established budgetary limits. Collaborating with other departments, such as finance, legal, and operations will also be part of your responsibility as well as implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You'll also assess and manage risks associated with indirect procurement.
5. 3+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement
6. Proven experience in Sourcing and Procurement
7. Stakeholder management (internal and external)
8. Experience with Procurement systemKnowledge in Source to Contract processes
9. Problem solving and analytical mindset
10. Strong time management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills
11. An entrepreneurial “can do” attitude facilitated by continuous learning and application of appropriate “best practices”
