Your Role
As a Medical Device UI/UX Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing user-facing components for our groundbreaking medical imaging system. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of innovators, ensuring an intuitive and efficient user experience in a highly regulated medical environment.
Your Responsibilities
UI/UX Development: Design and implement modern, responsive, and maintainable UI components using Qt/QML and C++.
Product Development: Work closely with clinical UX experts, software engineers, and stakeholders to enhance and expand our medical imaging solutions.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Maintain and extend automated/manual test frameworks and ensure UI consistency through rigorous testing.
Prototyping & Design: Collaborate in a user-centered design approach, utilizing tools such as Figma to prototype and validate UI designs.
Software Integration: Work within a modern development environment utilizing C++20, Qt6, QML, CMake, CI pipelines, and Git.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including regulatory experts, to ensure compliance with medical software standards.
Your Profile
Education & Experience: BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, with 2+ years of industry experience in UI development.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Qt/QML, C++, and UI best practices; familiarity with QML-C++ integration.
Bonus Skills: Experience with Squish testing, 3D graphics (OpenGL/Vulkan), and medical software regulations (ISO 62304) is a plus.
Team Player: Hands-on problem-solving approach, startup mindset, and creativity in tackling technical challenges.
Communication: Open-minded personality with excellent English communication skills; German is a plus.
