Senior Supply Chain Manager, ATS Strategic Integrated Network Planning
Amazon seeks a Senior Supply Chain Manager that combines collaborative and analytical skills with a passion for problem solving on behalf of our customers. In this role, you will contribute as part of Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) Network Planning team in our EU headquarters to help deliver customer packages faster, more reliably, and at a lower cost.
Amazon's Supply Chain Managers play a central role in our global business. They keep our complex, international supply chains working seamlessly and efficiently. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across Amazon, from Operational teams who are fulfilling customer orders to Retail teams and everything in between. You'll help us optimise our supply chains to make our customer experience even better and our business more energy and cost efficient.

A day in the life
Being a Supply Chain Manager for Amazon involves lots of problem solving. You'll work with a number of teams to navigate challenges as and when situations impact our network. You'll spend time resolving temporary issues and looking at the bigger picture to drive Amazon towards achieving new objectives. This role is both proactive and reactive, and you'll have the opportunity to help forecast and plan for new projects.
As a Supply Chain Manager, you'll need to help with both on-the-ground tasks and more strategic work. No two days will be the same. Having so much variety in your role means you'll be able to learn something new every day.
About the team
Amazon couldn't deliver at pace without the ATS team. As part of ATS, you'll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, you'll help Amazon's transport run at maximum efficiency.
This role is within Strategic Integrated Network Planning (SINP) team part of the ATS Strategic Network Design organization. SINP manages the end-to-end long-term planning from ATS perspective, the long- to mid-term planning of new businesses and programs such as Ship with Amazon (SWA), Amazon Freight (AF), AMXL, Warehouse transfers (WHT), Customer returns (C-ret), AMZL undeliverables (Back to FC, B2FC), Box-level placement (BLP), etc. Additionally, the SINP manages the scope of ATS network expansion into new EU countries and long-term planning of middle mile transportation modalities alternative to ground - Air, Sea, Rail.
Minimum Requirements
1. Master's degree
2. Experience in program or project management
3. Experience in supply chain
4. Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
5. Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
6. Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
Preferred Qualifications
1. MBA, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
2. Experience leading process improvements
3. Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
4. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
