We're on the hunt for an HR Generalist who's ready to dive into the full HR adventure — from preboarding high-fives to offboarding farewells. You’ll be the go-to for making sure our team’s experience is smooth, compliant, and genuinely awesome. You'll bring your local know-how to the table, helping us stay on top of the rules and the vibes. Working hand-in-hand with our HR Ops Manager, you'll help shape and sharpen the way we do HR as we scale.
AMONG OTHER THINGS YOU WILL
* Manage preboarding, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and programme execution.
* Keep us compliant and on track – stay ahead of local labor laws, manage timely reporting, and make sure we’re always playing by the rules.
* Develop and implement country specific HR programmes that address the unique needs of our workforce.
* Maintain clean, up-to-date employee records and HR systems while keeping data privacy top of mind.
* Work closely with the HR Operations Manager to support continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing service levels and operational efficiency.
* Manage work permit and immigration processes, including coordination with relevant authorities (e.g., AMS, MA35 in Austria).
* Collaborate with local payroll providers and legal consultants to ensure accurate handling of employment matters and compliance with country specific labor regulations.
WHO YOU ARE
* You have proven experience in an HR generalist role, preferably in a fast changing global company.
* You don’t need a fancy degree—just a solid track record and the right mindset.
* You have a strong understanding of local employment laws and compliance requirements to ensure HR operations meet regulatory standards.
* You have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively navigate relationships and communicate with employees at all levels.
* You are proficient in using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) for efficient HR operations.
* You have proven experience in payroll administration, particularly in collaboration with external payroll providers, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
* You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address employee concerns and improve HR processes.
* You have excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and German.

The annual gross minimum salary according to the collective agreement based on the Austrian law for this position is EUR 44.500. This includes: full health insurance, occupational accident insurance, public pension scheme and public unemployment insurance. Depending on your individual professional qualifications and previous experience your salary could be significantly higher.
