We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong SAP expertise, on an initial 12-month contract in Brisbane or Melbourne to lead the successful delivery of complex projects within a large-scale, fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on collaboration, drives results, and has a solid understanding of enterprise systems, particularly SAP.
About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of high-impact projects. Working under the guidance of senior leaders, you will oversee planning, execution, and evaluation—ensuring all milestones, deliverables, and outcomes are achieved within scope, time, and budget.
This role will have a strong emphasis on SAP-related projects, so prior hands-on experience with SAP (implementation, integration, or upgrade initiatives) is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery and ongoing monitoring of SAP-related projects that may have broad organisational impact.
* Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and governance frameworks aligned with project management best practices.
* Manage project budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships, particularly within an SAP ecosystem.
* Oversee stakeholder engagement across business and technical teams to ensure project alignment and effective communication.
* Identify and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies across related SAP initiatives.
* Lead and mentor project staff, building capability and fostering a high-performance culture.
* Produce high-quality documentation including business cases, reports, status updates, and executive briefs.
* Support innovation and lead change across systems, processes, and culture.
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience delivering SAP projects (e.g., S/4HANA implementations, SAP module upgrades, integrations).
* Strong stakeholder management skills with a collaborative, proactive mindset.
* Experience working within government or large-scale enterprise environments preferred.
* Familiarity with project governance and methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMBOK, or Agile.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
