SAP Basis Shopfloor Administrator (all genders) Vienna, Austria Full Time Your position As an SAP Basis Administrator, you will serve as the primary contact for SAP Shopfloor systems, taking responsibility for overseeing and managing our SAP system landscape, including operating systems, databases, and SAP services. Your role is critical in ensuring system stability, security, and optimal performance through regular checks, log analysis, and issue resolution. You will play a key role in supporting shop floor operations by collaborating with colleagues to manage backups, integrate SAP systems, and maintain seamless connections across platforms. Additionally, you will contribute to system upgrades, implement new technologies, and drive the adoption of innovative solutions. Based in Vienna, you will join our SAP Basis Team and report directly to the Head of SAP Systems. Your tasks * Start and stop databases (e.g., Oracle) and SAP systems, manage backups, and troubleshoot issues using tools like TOOLS * Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (e.g., NetWeaver), ensuring stability through system checks, log analysis, and updates * Configure and monitor SAP platforms, including Solution Manager, MII, and sap4me, managing system agents, integrations, and user access * Perform patching, upgrades, and documentation of SAP components, including kernel, database, and OS versions, to ensure security and optimization * Support SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) initiatives and enhance processes by adopting new technologies and tools Your profile * Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field * Extensive experience in SAP Basis Administration, Linux system administration, and database management * Proficiency in Linux and basic scripting, knowledge of Oracle and HANA databases, SAP NetWeaver, MII, and SAP Solution Manager Languages: English fluent, German advanced (considered an asset) Required certifications: Certified SAP Basis ABAP/JAVA Administrator Nice to have: Experience with SAP Manufacturing Our offer The annual gross salary for this full time position starts at EUR65,000.00 with a competitive package based on qualifications, experience, and market values.
