New exciting opportunity as Operations Manager (Shopping Centre) working with a highly successful property group with a large portfolio that includes retail shopping centres, commercial property and luxury resorts.
Working with an experienced team, you will provide strategic leadership and direction relating to the facilities management of two shopping centres in Melbourne's South/East. This role is focused on ensuring compliance and providing a safe and secure environment for all.
Main responsibilities:
* Contractor management (cleaning and security) and performance management.
* Overall maintenance and operations management for the centre.
* Management of purchase orders, invoice management, contractor payments and Contract Commercial Approval (CCA).
* Managing efficiencies in energy costs & HVAC.
* Daily centre inspections must be undertaken prior to the building openings. Any hazards or issues are to be dealt with immediately.
* Capital works projects across shopping centres (ad hoc).
* Working as a team across all risk management strategies.
* Reporting to the national operations management team.
Ideal background:
* Experience in a shopping centre environment advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
* Initiative, professionalism & persistence.
