Job Description
1. Planning, coordinating, and executing cross-departmental material-related projects, particularly to optimize manufacturing processes for metallic products (focus on welding technology)
2. Ensuring compliance with welding quality and safety standards and coordinating quality issues in production
3. Creating, reviewing, and approving necessary technical documentation
4. Acting as a key contact for specialized welding technology questions and conducting material analyses and tests for quality assurance
5. Identifying potential optimizations in production and implementing innovation projects
Qualifications
1. Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field
2. Relevant experience in manufacturing technology, ideally with a focus on welding technology and welding supervision
3. Certification as an International Welding Engineer (IWE) or European Welding Engineer (EWE)
4. Extensive experience with destructive and non-destructive testing methods (e.g., RT testing, PT testing, metallography)
5. Innovative mindset with enthusiasm for optimizing and advancing technical processes
6. Strong teamwork, communication skills, and proactive work style
7. Excellent German and English language skills

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime): € 4.500 to € 5.500.
