SAPOL has a Lead HR Business Partner maternity leave backfill opportunity. If you're looking to have a new HR leadership experience in an exciting agency and inclusive team, this role is for you.
The Lead HR Business Partner within HR Operations and Partnering is accountable to the Manager, HR Business Partnering, works closely with another Lead HR Business Partner, and provides day to day supervision to HR Business Partners. The Lead HR Business Partners are responsible for the provision of specialist strategic and complex advisory service to SAPOL executive team, and senior leaders and employees across a suite of HR services which contributes to the achievement of SA Government and SAPOL's strategic goals and priorities.
Part time at 0.8FTE will also be considered.
What you can offer us
* Ability to lead, coach and develop skills in a HR team to deliver professional services to internal and external clients.
* Demonstrated experience in providing an advisory and consultancy service to employees, management and executive leaders on a range of human resource related matters, including complex employment issues such as unsatisfactory performance (including medical incapacity and misconduct).
* Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders on complex human resource management matters, such as employment issues and organisational change initiatives.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, which foster effective communication, teamwork, leadership, trust and cooperation across a wide cross section of stakeholders.
* Proven high level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret and explain government policy, prepare briefing papers and reports to inform decision makers, and advise all levels of management on complex matters.
* Proven ability to work autonomously with limited supervision, to set and meet deadlines, determine priorities and organise work to meet goals.
* Ability to identify and analyse problems, and develop plans, policies and procedures to address identified issues.
* Knowledge of the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion.

Salary
ASO7 - $108,109 - $116,864 per annum.
