Climate Product Specialist (f/m/d)
How You'll Make Your Mark
* You support the ALDI SOUTH Group on its carbon reduction pathway towards net-zero with approved science-based targets.
* You develop and implement an international supplier engagement strategy in the field of climate change.
* You take on responsibility as the climate strategy coordinator, developing measures and global carbon reduction initiatives with a focus on product emissions.
* You serve as a focal point, collaborating with national and international business entities on the development and implementation of the international climate strategy.
* You identify synergies with nature and biodiversity teams to create holistic solutions.
* You collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
* You create concept papers, analyses, reports, and presentations.
Your Profile
* You hold a degree ideally related to Corporate Responsibility, Environmental Management, Carbon Accounting and Management, Agriculture, Supplier Engagement, or Product Supply Chains.
* You bring initial work experience in agriculture, climate change, carbon accounting (GHG Protocol), or environmental management, with a focus on Scope 3 value chain emissions.
* You have experience in the field of climate change, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, LCA, PCF, and basic expertise in supplier and buyer engagement.
* You are proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications.
* You enjoy international cooperation and transforming mindsets to embed climate action into business.
* You are fluent in English.
* You demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as teamwork.

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 52.700,-*
willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications.
