As a Product Owner (m/f/d) for our Automated Shuttle System For Storage Of Small Loads called CycloneCarrier, you are accountable for the master design/architecture of standard products, including verification and maintaining the technical aspect to ensure a sustainable solution. This includes product change management, feedback, and improvement suggestions. The role is mainly focused on the inbound/internal activities throughout the product life cycle.
One of the most important tasks is about the orchestration of the different internal stakeholders (sales, realization, functions in engineering, development, and product managers) as well as to support across the company with technical product information for important decisions. In this process, the Product Manager will be the main counterpart.
Responsibilities
Make an impact:
* Lead the technical planning and management of the product lifecycle, ensuring strategic alignment from start to finish
* Work alongside Development and Product Managers to design and implement technical concepts that meet new feature requirements in product development projects
* Drive standardization across products and components, collaborating with other Product Owners to align efforts
* Responsible for problem-free processes from sales to customer service from a product point of view - Overall Process
* Develop a deep understanding of the product, market, customer needs, and competitive landscape, providing valuable insights and support to both internal and external stakeholders
* Support the Product Manager by providing technical specifications for outbound activities, including product launches, promotions, sales and marketing content, and technical sales support
Application Requirements
What you need to succeed:
* A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Automatization, or a related field
* 3-5 years of experience as a senior engineer, preferably within intralogistics
* A multidisciplinary understanding of mechanics, electronics, and software
* Proven experience in product development
* Ideally, you have market knowledge in light goods storage, experience with product standardization
* Strong proficiency in both German and English
* Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%) to our Swisslog offices
