As a Head of System Engineering at Frequentis, you will apply your expertise in leading a group of System Engineers working in ATM Voice Solution Projects collaborating with Solution Architects and Technical Solution Managers, ensuring the success of our Projects worldwide.Key TasksLeadership & Team Development:Lead and manage a team of Engineers (local and offshore)Align daily engineering tasks with Project Management peers in the Delivery Operations OrganizationMentor and guide System Engineers by setting targets, assigning tasks, and ensuring project alignmentDefine yearly training targets, oversee booking processes, and ensure budget approvals from the Head of Department or HREmpower Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to take on leadership roles and facilitate their collaboration with the Solution Architect teamWork closely with Resource Management peers to ensure efficient utilization of engineering resourcesProvide monthly reports on resource allocation and utilization metricsEnsure engineers are optimally allocated to projects with proper workload distributionCollaborate in quarterly forums with Project Management to align and enhance internal processesTechnical Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:Ensure alignment between Solution Architects, Development, and Delivery teams in both Software Delivery Lifecycle and Legacy System projectsInvolve the right technical personnel from the early stages of a project, starting in the offer phaseFacilitate connections between Solution Architects and engineers during the offer phaseSupport pre-sales engineering efforts and contribute to reviewing calculations in offersKey QualificationsBachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field5 years proven experience in leading engineering teams, preferably in a multinational environmentStrong project management and resource allocation skillsExcellent mentorship and coaching abilities combined with technical expertiseProficiency in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration with strong solution-oriented skillsDecisive with a strong communication and interpersonal focusOur ValuesAround 2,300 employees are committed to creating a safer world with their innovative strength and technology orientation.
