They have experienced significant growth in recent years and are now looking to grow their retail investor FUM and bring in a motivated Business Development Manager to help do that.Their unique independent business structure allows deals to happen much quicker than in larger businesses, and they have all the right structures in place (operationally, risk etc) to ensure the business is compliant and in a good state for future growth.The ideal candidate will be a motivated sales professional who can leverage their advisor network to drive strategic partnerships and generate deals. You will have an experienced sales team around you who are there to help you settle into the business and be successful.ResponsibilitiesLeverage your extensive retail (advisor) network to foster growth and proactively cultivate new clients.Research, identify and build long-term strategic sales execution plans, owning the sales opportunity end-to-end.Exceed sales pipeline targets through strategic partnerships.Collaborate with the internal team to achieve the best results for their customers.QualificationsA well-established footprint as a business development manager with experience in funds/property.University Degree or Diploma in Finance, Business or Accounting (or other related field of study).Established networks with advisors and advisory groups in the Melbourne market (and a strong reputation).Professional and confident communicator with an ability to present relevant solutions to meet the prospective clients' needs.Proven experience developing strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed new business targets.Experience managing the entire sales life cycle, from identifying opportunities, building sales strategy and nurturing client relationships with senior/C-suite level stakeholders.This is a business which has experienced significant growth in recent years, and you will get to work with some top-tier professionals who care deeply about both the business and their clients.
