As a Designer for Suspension, you combine your passion for racing with your high level of expertise in the design of various vehicle components and ideally in the development of suspension components. You take part in our development, are responsible for functionality and are also involved in the projects that are responsible for our success. Do you have the necessary passion and drive?
THE TASKS AWAITING YOU
1. Development of components, assemblies and systems from the concept to the finished suspension (shock absorber, fork and steering damper).
2. Interface between the requirements of the race track and the development department to improve the suspension components.
3. Creation of CAD models, drafts and parts lists.
4. Assembly and in-house testing of prototypes.
5. Communication with different departments and the racing team as well as external suppliers.
6. Participation in field tests to support the introduction of new components and to stay in contact with the racing team.
HOW YOU CAN INSPIRE US
1. Successfully completed technical education with focus on mechanical engineering or vehicle development (HTL/FH/TU).
2. First professional experience in 3D-construction, ideally with Creo and Windchill would be an advantage.
3. Excellent knowledge of MS-Office and familiarity with SAP.
4. Good understanding of English, both written and spoken; German is a plus.
5. Enthusiasm for motorsport.
6. Open-minded, communicative and flexible personality with a high degree of team spirit and organisational skills.
7. Analytical, structured and solution-oriented thinking skills as well as independent, methodical and accurate way of working.
