The Purchasing and Asset Manager is responsible for the sourcing, purchasing, and asset management of Goods and Services for United Petroleum. The Purchasing and Asset Manager will help implement both policy, process, and system controls to ensure external supplier expenditure is achieving value for money.
About the Opportunity
* Procurement: Implement and maintain purchasing processes, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely, cost-effective procurement.
* Project Purchasing: Support Project Teams to scope, cost, and effectively procure Goods and Services to deliver the Project objectives.
* Asset Management: Maintain a company-wide Asset Register and support the asset acquisition, management, and disposal processes.
* System Administration: Management of the Purchase Order system including governance controls.
* Requesting quotations, negotiating, and evaluating proposals from key Suppliers.
* New Supplier process: Lead and manage the evaluation process for new suppliers.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings as well as driving spend through preferred supplier arrangements.
About You
* Minimum 3 years Purchasing or Asset/Inventory management experience.
* Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience highly regarded.
* Strong analytical and commercial skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
