To support our strategic growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified HR Manager/Senior Business Partner to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing, explosives or mining industry.
Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager, the role covers a broad range of generalist HR activities focused on driving amazing experiences for our people through the delivery of professional high-quality HR consulting, advice, and subject matter expertise.
The Applicants Will Have:
* Relevant tertiary qualification in human resources or related discipline
* At least 5 years’ demonstrated experience as an HR professional, preferably within a manufacturing, explosives or mining environment
* Proven experience with the application of Australian legislation and award interpretation
* Strong ability to provide strategic advice, develop options, make sound judgments, and solve problems
* Demonstrated ability to build highly effective working relationships by establishing credibility, respect, and rapport with both internal and external networks
* Excellent influencing and persuasion skills, with the ability to challenge people, situations, and current thinking creatively and effectively
* Clear, concise, and influential written communication skills
* Flexibility to work across business units and cover for colleagues as needed
* Ability to provide expert HR consulting across induction and onboarding, employee experience, performance and development planning, organisation development and design, performance management, cyclical HR activities and coaching our leaders
* Leading the development and execution of HR projects, initiatives, policies, and procedures under the General Manager’s guidance
* Analysing HR data and utilising our HR systems to develop solutions and make recommendations
* Supporting managers in building high-performing teams and implementing retention strategies
* Managing complex employee relations issues, performance matters, and investigations
* Ability to work in a team and autonomously
