Senior Management Accountant & Financial AnalystRentco is a fast-growing Heavy Truck & Trailer Hire Business, and there is now a great opportunity available to join our Finance Team.Rentco has recently been acquired by a large Private Equity firm with significant growth aspirations and opportunities.About the roleOur Corporate Head Office in Perth is currently seeking a Senior Management Accountant & Financial Analyst. The role will have ownership of the annual budgeting and financial planning process, including ongoing rolling forecasting. We are looking for this role to identify opportunities for performance and process improvement across the organisation. You will create financial models to present to senior management for decision making. You will be required to liaise with all levels of management within the business to guide and instruct to optimise performance.In addition, you will report on capex deployment, utilisation and track asset performance to budget and business case expectations.System improvement across ERP, ownership of budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management tools.Benefits and perksThere are several benefits to being a Rentco employee, including but not limited to: competitive industry salary, modern facilities, car parking, job security, and career progression opportunities. PLUS extras.Key responsibilitiesProduce reports in analysing business goals and revenue targets.Work directly with CFO on various planning exercises, such as forecasting and reporting.Develop and manage budgets and set performance objectives.Plan, evaluate, and optimise operations to be efficient and cost-effective.Ensure company standards and procedures are followed.Develop business case models to assist the sales team on proposals.Work with senior leadership team and sales management to develop, guide and implement changes in financial budgeting and forecasting with the view to improve profitability.Assist in workshop project efficiencies and other tasks as required.Skills and experienceIdeally, the following experience, skills, and personal attributes will be necessary to be successful in the role:Five plus years' experience in a management accounting role.Preferably in a rental / transport business.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Financial Reporting systems.Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Friendly and personable - ability to connect with people and partner with key stakeholders at all levels of the business.Hold a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and credibility.Willingness to travel to visit interstate operations.Australian Permanent resident or citizen.Prior business improvement / process improvement experience.Prior business analyst experience.Confident in change management and overcoming objections.Use of budgeting and forecasting tools.Previous experience in Insphire and Phocas.RentcoRentco is a growing Heavy Truck & Trailer Hire Business, with over 4,000 assets.
