This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchasing professional to take on a key leadership role with Stealth Group Holdings, working from our Head Office in Stirling, Western Australia.
Reporting to the Group Chief Operating Officer, this is a dynamic role overseeing purchasing, demand planning and inventory management for a suite of Wholesale, Distribution and Retail brands operating across the company’s industrial division.
Responsible for exceptional service delivery, you will work closely with the Executive Management Team, Sales, Operations & Finance leaders to drive improvements, change and commercial decision making within your teams.
What you’ll be doing:
* Overseeing the Group’s purchasing, planning and inventory management strategies, focusing on the achievement of performance and customer service KPIs.
* Leading a team of local and international Purchasing Officers, driving a culture of high performance, responsiveness and accountability.
* Identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline, automate and continuously improve processes, systems and work practices.
* Review and redesign of the Company demand planning processes.
* Ensure accuracy and consistency across all stages of the supply chain, using data and reports to drive decision making.
* Taking accountability for inventory and purchasing cost management, providing education, expertise and guidance to your team and stakeholders to ensure commercial decision making.
* Managing inventory across multiple locations to maximise efficiency, product movement and customer experience.
