Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop electronic systems and components for medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
2. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and reliability analyses for electronic systems.
3. Collaborate with other engineers to integrate electronic systems with mechanical and software components.
4. Lead the testing and validation of electronic components and systems, including bench testing, verification, and validation activities.
5. Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs teams.
6. Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to medical device electronics.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in the design and development of electronic systems for medical devices.
3. Proficiency in Altium CAD software for schematic capture and PCB layout design.
4. Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, microcontrollers, sensors, and wireless communication protocols.
5. Experience with software development for embedded systems (C/C++, Python, etc.).
6. Familiarity with design control processes and medical device risk management.
7. Experience with regulatory standards such as ISO 13485, IEC 60601, ISO 14708-3, and FDA regulations for medical devices.
8. Experience with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and mitigation techniques.
