We're actively seeking an expert Radio Frequency (RF) engineer for one of our customers, a trailblazer in spectrum sharing development for the Defense Department and other government agencies. This role entails full-spectrum participation in the research, design, development, and building of RF systems. What you'll be doing:
* Develop high performance RF transceiver, RF systems, and components such as mixers, amplifiers, synthesizers, and filters.
* Experience in modeling, designing, and building amplifiers, filters, and other circuits in a research and development environment.
* Participate in all aspects of the design, from concept to system-, circuit-, and PC board-level design.
Responsibilities covered in this position:
* Responsible for the analysis, design, development, debugging, and technical documentation of innovative RF systems.
* Evaluate RF system trades including alternative designs and evaluation of components; interact with internal and external engineering teams on a regular basis to design and create interfaces with other system elements.
* Participate in both internal and external technical reviews; work with board manufacturers for fabrication and testing.
Qualifications required:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (Applied Physics, Mathematics, etc.)
Minimum 10 years experience in DoD C5ISR technologies or commercial telecommunications sector, with exposure to 5G/LTE, etc.
Programming (any of the following): C++, C, and/or Python.
Experience/exposure with MATLAB.
