As our Chief Concierge, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Concierge department, ensuring that guests receive exceptional, personalised service in line with our luxury brand standards. You will lead and manage a team of talented professionals, driving service excellence and achieving departmental goals while fostering a culture of guest satisfaction.
THE ROLE
* Act as an ambassador for the Mondrian brand, embodying its modern, cultural, and imaginative ethos.
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the concierge desk and Residence concierge desk, ensuring all tasks and guest requests are handled promptly and efficiently.
* Anticipate guest needs and preferences, providing recommendations and arranging personalised services, such as restaurant reservations, local tours, and events, to enhance the guest experience.
* Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of local attractions, events, and services, acting as a cultural connoisseur for Mondrian guests.
* Build and maintain relationships with guests, encouraging guest loyalty through personalised service and attention to detail encouraging repeat stays.
THE REQUIREMENTS
* Proven experience as a Chief Concierge or similar leadership role in a luxury hotel or resort.
* Exceptional knowledge of the Gold Coast region, including local attractions, restaurants, events, and cultural landmarks.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and organisational, planning and problem-solving skills, flexibility and adaptability to manage changing priorities and workflow.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience in using a Property Management system such as Opera Cloud is highly desirable.
* Ability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
* Must have valid Australia Working Rights.
