In this role you will be working at the Research and development department in Gratkorn (Austria) with the focus on fundamental analytics.Role and responsibilitiesLead and execute projects related to chemical analytics (for example HPLC, ICP, EA, IR spectroscopy…) and new business initiatives, ensuring targets, budgets, and timelines are metManage analytical lab devices, methods, CMR/toxic substances, gas handling, inventory, and ensure adherence to SHEQ policiesSupervise and develop the Fundamental Analytics team, coordinating training and team developmentDevelop and implement new test methods to support research goals and innovationLead non-standard laboratory investigations and ensure safety training for handling CMR/toxic substances in line with SHEQ standardsRequired qualificationsPhD in chemical engineering, papermaking, process technology, polymer chemistry or similar (university or university of applied sciences)Experience in analytical chemistryExperience in setting up and coordinating complex projectsGood communication skillsOut of the box thinking and networking capabilitiesMust be able to work cross functionalFluent German and English is mandatoryLocationThis job is located in GratkornTravelingOccasionally, it is sometimes necessary to travel to the group's locationsWhat we offerAn excellent opportunity to work, learn & grow with us.
