ANDRITZ is seeking a Civil Engineering Manager to support our Power-2-X team.
We are looking for a professional with a strong background in managing industrie civil projects. You should be passionate about cost optimizing of civil solutions and capable of managing suppliers during engineering and execution phases. In your role, you will
1. Clarify the civil solutions according to the project requirement and coordinate the cost estimating with external civil designers and contractors during the sales phase.
2. Clarify, discuss and present the technical solution towards the team and the customer across all project stages
3. Create request for quotations (RFQs) for civil related packages, find the right civil contractor partners and negotiate together with the procurement the contracts.
4. Schedule the civil tasks for the projects and align with the overall project plan
5. Manage civil design solutions over the total project lifetime and providing input for overall design optimization to reduce civil costs.
6. Being the escalation level for customer and suppliers about the civil design topics
7. Provide expertise to customers according to our project strategy
8. Align required or requested modifications with the internal product design experts
9. Inspect contected civil works and being responsible for the change management
10. You report directly to the global director of engineering of our P2X solutions
In your personal skill set, you have
11. Degree level qualification in a civil engineering discipline
12. Minimum years of experience in civil project management, experience for industrie solutions is a plus.
13. Knowledge about technical building equipment like HVAC, fire protecting systems, lighting…. is a plus.
14. Ability to consult with customers and notified bodies about technical design requirements is expected
15. Explain design solutions in an engaging manner
16. Experience to perform acceptance tests and to supervise the construction
17. Strategic mindset with the ability to think long-term and anticipate future challenges and opportunities.
18. Strong communication, analytical and planning skills
19. Solution/team/customer oriented with the confidence to act pro-actively
20. Fluent in English. Another European language is an advantage
21. Willingness to travel for 5 days per month in average

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € ,04 per month for this position.
Depending on qualifications and professional experience we offer you a market-based salary.
