Our Site in Lanzenkirchen
Lanzenkirchen, based in the south of Vienna, is Hilti's Competence Center for Ventilated Façade and Installation Systems such as Pipe clamps and Heavy modular systems. As part of our Business Unit Installation, we provide product development, supply, marketing and engineering.
Our highly motivated international team works together with colleagues from all over the world in an entrepreneurial environment to bring innovative new products to the market.

Key Responsibilities
* Derive mechanical resistance characteristics for a global installation fixation portfolio
* Evaluate compliance with international building standards
* Apply testing and finite element analysis techniques
* Recommend and execute non-linear finite element models
* Develop concepts for technical data creation and design methods
* Create and review technical documentation
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
* SUPPORT hardware and software development projects
* Contribute to innovation by identifying new opportunities in products, processes, and software
* Support product development and special market requests
* Act as a key counterpart for local and regional engineering marketing and application engineering teams

Requirements
University Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering (MSc or higher)
+ 3 years relevant working experience
Knowledge of modern design tools such as 2D(3D), FEM
Knowledge about Eurocode and national codes
Experience in structural engineering with steel
Fluent in English (B2 level minimum), all other languages are a plus
Mastery of static analyses and ability to explain results to externals
Ability and experience to think/imagine in 3D modular support system applications
This job falls under the collective agreement for metal trade employees in employment group IV.
The agreement specifies that the minimum gross monthly salary for a full-time position (38.5 hours/week) is EUR 3.341,50.
We value our employees and offer a highly competitive salary package that exceeds the collective agreement salary.
You can expect a minimum annual gross salary of EUR 60.000 (All-In; including 13th, 14th, and bonus payments) as a starting point, with room for negotiation based on your individual qualifications and position-relevant professional experience.
