About the Role
The objective of the Modern Applications practice is to become the trusted partner for our customers in advising and delivering modern application solutions. The role requires providing support to the Modern Apps Support team as the primary technical advisor by participating in hands on development for complex issues, technical (code) reviews, technical documentation, and remediation plans throughout all aspects of the application support / software development life cycle.
This is a hybrid role with flexible work from home options. It reports to the Head of Modern Applications.
Main Duties
* Manage and provide application support to Modern Application solutions according to the agreed SLA.
* Liaise closely with customers and the relevant stakeholders (internally/externally) in understanding support requirements, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities.
* Guiding the Modern Apps Support team to provide support services following Microsoft's best practices.
* Manage work allocations within the application support team.
* Participating in technical documentation, and remediation plans throughout all aspects of the application support/ software development life cycle.
* Leading and participating in monthly service delivery meeting with customers.
* Share/presenting to the wider Solutions team to share knowledge/experience in providing support services.
* Identify improvement opportunities as well as adopting new methods and best practices for CBS' clients.
* Attend onsite visits to clients when required.
About You
We are looking for someone who has established experience in application support and consulting. They would demonstrate analytical, troubleshooting & problem-solving skills. Customer facing experience in consulting roles would be preferred. Current Microsoft certification is highly desirable. Key skills include -
* 5+ years' demonstrated development / support experience with Azure Cloud applications and its development tools, including but not limited to:
o Azure Web Apps
o Azure Functions
o Azure Logic Apps
o Azure DevOps
* 5+ years' demonstrated development / support experience with Power Platform / Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and its development tools.
* 5+ years' development / support experience with Power Apps Portals/Power Pages and its development tools.
* 5+ years' development / support experience with Power Automate.
* Familiar and demonstrated development / support experience in 2 or more Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Project Service Automation/Project Operations, Field Services, etc.)
