IT Manager
Overview:
The Red Bull Athlete Performance Center (APC) is an athlete accelerator that supports world-class athletes to maximize their individual potential within an innovative environment and a powerful global network of specialists.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and build Sports Data Platform & Data Products:
* Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of sports data platform and data products.
* Introduce data engineering capabilities to support various departments in the Red Bull sports projects with the IT team.
* Manage the underlying technology stack, including data pipelines and ETL processes with the IT team.
* Evaluate compliance with pertinent data protection regulations and industry standards by implementing policies and procedures aimed at safeguarding sensitive information and mitigating cybersecurity risks.
2. Design and build athlete performance data applications (APHub):
* Define technical vision and IT architecture of APHub.
* Establish technical product life cycle management, including IT support and operations.
* Establish and steer engineering & software development.
* Steer and supervise projects in this area.
3. Program and Project Management:
* Prepare approval and funding documents, monitor project progress, and ensure timely delivery within budgetary constraints.
4. Defining IT Direction:
* Define, align, and implement the company's IT approach, aligning IT strategy with business objectives and performance data engineering activities.
* Shape the role of IT within the organization, seeking efficiencies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive organizational success.
* Ensure efficient resource utilization and alignment of IT resources with business priorities.
* Plan and manage local IT budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
* Implement IT standards and guidelines, ensuring operational excellence in project delivery and IT support.
Requirements:
* Education:
* Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Proven experience (7 years) in overseeing IT infrastructure, applications, and data systems, preferably in a sports performance or high-performance environment.
