Job Summary
This position offers the exciting opportunity to perform service work with varying requirements under own responsibility, adhering to high ABB standards for processes, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with customers in troubleshooting, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and retrofit & upgrade to identify opportunities for improving customer operations and eliminating weak points.
* Perform field service tasks, analyze technical issues through remote or on-site activities, and participate in workshop repairs and remote support.
* Troubleshoot equipment/process failures, request proactive corrective actions, and recommend measures to avoid future issues.
* Provide remote condition monitoring and telephone technical customer support.
* Carry out service assignments throughout Germany and engage in on-call duty with colleagues.
Requirements
* HTL technical college or equivalent education, preferably in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or communications engineering.
* Professional experience in electronics, electrical engineering, and drive technology is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Driver's license (B) required.
* Fluency in German and technical English, both written and spoken, is essential.
* High willingness to travel.
* Customer and problem-solving oriented, resilient, team-oriented, flexible, and independent.
* Ability to act independently while considering colleagues and the business, aligning with ABB's core values of safety and integrity.
