We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to strengthen our team at EGSTON Power Electronics, a young and fast-growing company in the power electronics industry. Our focus is on developing and manufacturing high-performance Power Hardware-in-the-Loop (PHIL) test and emulation platforms for power electronic systems.
As a sales personality with a thirst for conquest and an authentic style of communication, you will be responsible for convincing customers with unique selling points of our products and building a sustainable sales pipeline.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Identifying and acquiring new leads to expand business opportunities
* Building and managing a pipeline of new opportunities, ensuring continuous growth
* Acquiring new customers, including research institutions, universities, certification companies, and corporate clients
* Monitoring market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify new sales potentials
* Developing innovative sales strategies and new application opportunities
* Managing the full sales cycle, including preparing offers, leading project discussions, negotiating contracts, and establishing pricing strategies
* Actively participating in conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows to strengthen brand presence
* Contributing to marketing strategies by providing insights into customer needs and market demands
* Maintaining strong relationships with existing and new business partners through ongoing technical and commercial support
* Acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams (R&D, Product Management, etc.) to relay market feedback and technical requirements
* Conducting customer visits both on-site and remotely to strengthen engagement and drive sales
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Degree in electrical engineering (or similar), overall high affinity for technical challenges
* Relevant professional experience in the sale of technically demanding products on the international market
* Experience in cold acquisition
* Communication skills paired with strong negotiation and closing skills
* Experience and proven track record in the development of modern sales strategies to proactively increase sales
* Proficient in spoken and written English, German. Further language skills are a plus
* Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally
* Ideally, an existing network and contacts to key accounts in power electronics industry, research & academia
