Strengthen our Site Leadership Team at the Royal Canin plant in Bruck an der Leitha (30 min drive from Vienna) as Site R&D / Quality & Food Safety Manager. In this position, you will be at the forefront of our local R&D operations, leading innovation, and championing quality and food safety initiatives. You will manage and inspire our dedicated R&D team and play a crucial role in the local site leadership team, contributing far beyond the traditional functional scope.
What we are looking for:
1. Master’s degree in biological, biochemical, food science, or a related field
2. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, showcasing strong leadership skills and a proven track record in team and individual development, as well as functional competences, preferably within Petcare
3. Fluent English and with at least basic German skills
What will be your key responsibilities?
4. Lead and coach the local site R&D team
5. Ensure site awareness and compliance with global quality and food safety standards
6. Act as the primary interface into the Royal Canin organization for R&D related topics
7. Lead continuous improvement of consumer-relevant product quality at the site
8. Oversee the smooth and standardized operation of production technologies at the site
9. Define and implement standard operating procedures and enhance process capabilities
10. Ensure standards are met and address gaps promptly and effectively
11. Work with fellow leadership team members to cultivate a strong quality culture

15. A gross annual base salary starting at EUR 73.800 (full-time) plus company bonus, we are willing to pay more based on your experience and background
