Role Summary:
The Contract Administrator or Senior CA will be responsible for managing, reviewing, and maintaining contracts throughout their lifecycle. This includes ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements, mitigating risks, and fostering positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and related documentation.
2. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
3. Monitor contract timelines, deliverables, and renewals.
4. Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries.
5. Collaborate with legal, procurement, and project teams to address contract issues.
6. Maintain accurate records and an organized contract management system.
7. Identify and mitigate potential contractual risks.
8. Provide regular reports on contract status and performance metrics.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, trade, or similar.
2. Proven experience as a Contract Administrator or in a similar role.
3. Local or interstate experience a must.
4. Good subcontractor network.
5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
7. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
9. Experience in industry-specific experience if applicable (e.g., construction contracts, IT procurement contracts).
