Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Doctor Roster and Recruitment Manager to oversee the management of our medical workforce roster while ensuring that it aligns with budgetary constraints. This crucial role will involve managing doctor recruitment, roster optimisation, and fostering strong doctor relationships, all with a focus on operational efficiency and cost management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sourcing and Outreach
o Identify and source qualified doctors and healthcare professionals through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct outreach.
o Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates to meet workforce needs while adhering to budget.
2. Screening and Engagement
o Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and interest in Medmate's offerings.
o Provide detailed information about the company, role, and benefits to attract top talent.
o Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process.
3. Relationship Building
o Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and current doctors to ensure retention and engagement.
o Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, maintaining communication and addressing any queries during and after the recruitment process.
o Work closely with the Medical Director and national operations team to understand workforce requirements, budget constraints, and operational KPIs.
o Provide regular updates to senior leadership on recruitment progress and the status of the medical workforce roster.
4. Roster Management and Budget Alignment
o Build and optimize the medical workforce roster to meet operational and budgetary goals, ensuring cost-effective staffing solutions.
o Collaborate with the CFO and national operations teams to monitor budget allocation and KPIs related to roster management, ensuring workforce efficiency.
5. Compliance and Reporting
o Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities and candidate interactions in the database.
o Ensure recruitment practices comply with healthcare regulations and industry standards.
o Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in healthcare recruitment.
o Provide actionable insights to improve recruitment strategies, budget alignment, and workforce planning.
About You
* Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, ideally within the healthcare sector, with a focus on general practitioner recruitment.
* Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly in managing medical staff and roster optimisation.
* Experience with sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates across multiple channels.
* Ability to manage workforce rosters within budget while meeting operational demands.
* Highly organized, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
* Strong collaboration and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Proficiency in documenting processes and staying informed about industry developments.
