Business Development & Strategy Manager

This position reports to Division President Machine Automation. The role leads RAMA Business Development & Strategy function covering strategy development and implementation, business planning and complex business development projects. It also acts as a partner for the division's management in the development and implementation of winning strategies aligned with company targets.
Key responsibilities include:
• Strategy & Strategy Implementation – Creation, planning & implementing global division's strategy definition with leadership team and executing through the analysis and identification of markets, customer segments, competitor moves, offerings and past business performance.
• Market Intelligence & Business Development - Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Use data to inform strategic decisions and identify potential growth areas.
• M&A - Work closely with business management to identify and prioritize potential acquisition targets in line with division strategy.
• Performance Monitoring & EC Presentations - Set and track KPIs to measure the success of business development initiatives.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
• People & Leadership - Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
Qualifications for the role include:
• Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or Marketing.
• 10 years of relevant global work experience.
• Proven track record in business development and strategy, experience in Merger & Acquisition projects.
• Project management skills.
• Knowledge on control, drives and automation market as well as basic understanding of key technology trends (including software and AI) are an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication & negotiation skills in English with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
