In your new role you will:
1. Optimize and maintain the performance and stability of our software applications for wafer manufacturing, ensuring seamless operation and minimal downtime.
2. Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Perl.
3. Implement and maintain DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous monitoring.
4. Drive the deployment of cloud-based applications using OpenShift and Kubernetes, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
5. Configure and manage cloud-based environments to meet business requirements, ensuring high availability and scalability.
6. Provide second-level application support, resolving incidents and problems in a timely and efficient manner.
7. Participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call service, providing timely support and resolution to critical incidents and issues.
8. Work closely with global teams using Agile methodologies to ensure alignment and effective communication.
9. Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and provide training and support as needed.
You are a committed, team-oriented personality with an agile mindset, strong communication skills, and enjoy working independently. You approach problems analytically, quickly recognize the essentials, and derive suitable solution options. You are characterized by your high sense of quality and responsibility and can prioritize topics. You communicate openly and clearly and love to push things forward within a team. You enjoy solving problems independently, familiarizing yourself with new topics, and constantly learning new things.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
1. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
2. At least 3 to 5 years of work experience.
3. Solid experience with cloud technologies (OpenShift, Kubernetes).
4. Strong scripting language skills (PowerShell, Bash, Perl).
5. Basic database knowledge (Oracle, MS SQL).
6. Knowledge of software development processes, source configuration management, and CI/CD management (Azure DevOps, Git).
7. Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Server.
8. Very good communication skills in German and English.
