The Clinical Governance Business Partner (CGBP) will support the Ventures team. You will be a key enabler in managing clinical risk, driving quality improvement in clinical service provision, and supporting innovative models of care. The work is focused in the areas of:
* Mental health (EAP services)
The CGBP plays a key role in the delivery and oversight of clinical governance and quality management activities by ensuring application of Medibank's Clinical Governance Framework as these services develop and grow.
Reporting to the Senior Medical Advisor, and working with the broader Clinical Governance team, you will:
* Support innovative and safe expansion of our new ventures, ensuring the CG framework is operationalised safely and is clinically sound.
* Participate in projects/initiatives as a clinical stakeholder to ensure the services are clinically impactful, safety is maintained, and clinical risks are identified.
* Take ownership of complaint and incident processes, adverse event investigations, reporting and clinical escalation as required.
* Develop and manage quality improvement activities in collaboration with business stakeholders.
* Manage clinical KPIs in accordance with contractual and business requirements including contribution to reports, escalation of matters as required and ongoing review.
* Support/manage credentialing processes, audit programs, and accreditation processes.
This is a permanent part-time (0.5 FTE) position, predominantly working from home but with the option to also work from one of our offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, or Brisbane. Some travel to Melbourne (approx 3 times a year) will be required.
About you
You are a qualified Allied Health Professional or Registered Nurse who has previous experience with quality assurance and/or clinical governance in mental health, EAP, or corporate wellbeing.
You are skilled in independently analysing clinical outcome data and can produce high-quality reports. You are comfortable providing clinical input and support to process improvement initiatives.
Experience in models of care design, supporting new service development, managing clinical incidents, and comfort in accreditation processes would be highly regarded.
