Drive Personnel is a solidified recruitment company inside the mining and construction and resource sector. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in West Perth.
We serve multiple clients across Western Australia, focusing on maintenance personnel at over 40 mine sites. Our close-knit professional team values one another and our clients. We are looking for a Senior Recruitment Lead, inside our planning and recruitment team, to manage key accounts and ensure that our service remains at a high standard at all times. In this role, you will strengthen existing relationships with our customers/clients, ensuring individual client processes and supply are of high caliber both professionally and in the quality of candidates.
Reporting directly to our Directors, your role is crucial to our operations, overseeing key accounts and having the ability to grow your division and request new internal hires based on growth and successes. You will be required to lead from the front and push the team towards our targets and client satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in HR and experience in sourcing and attracting candidates, conducting interviews, and assessing applicants. You will collaborate with department managers to proactively identify future hiring needs and attract candidates through various sources such as Seek, OPMS, social media, and employee referrals.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing key accounts and clients' needs daily while being focused on ensuring quarterly meetings are held.
* Designing and implementing improvements to the overall recruitment strategy.
* Demonstrating leadership qualities and the ability to influence and get the best out of your team.
* Developing and updating job descriptions and specifications.
* Sourcing and recruiting candidates through various channels.
* Screening resumes and conducting interviews.
* Assessing applicants' relevant skills and aptitudes.
* Onboarding new employees.
* Monitoring HR best practices and providing analytical reports.
* Building relationships with candidates during the selection process.
* Promoting the company as a great place to work.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Recruiter.
* Ability to conduct various types of interviews.
* Trade-based knowledge (Boilermakers, Coded welders, Mechanical Fitters, High-risk workers, and General labour).
* Ability to interpret scope of works (Maintenance shutdowns, special projects, and construction).
* Knowledge of the Goldfields, Southwest, and Pilbara mining operations (sites, inductions, locations, etc.).
* Hands-on experience with selection processes and recruiting software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management.
