ANDRITZ is seeking a dynamic I&C Engineer to support us with our Power-to-X projects. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, specifying, and clarifying instrument and control requirements for our green hydrogen and renewable fuel solutions.
We are looking for a professional with extensive experience in process control engineering. Your deep understanding of defining requirements and designing control solutions will play a crucial role in the success of our projects.

In your role, you will:
* Develop innovative control concepts for our plant solutions
* Define requirements for the automation, instrumentation, and control equipment
* Participate in HAZOP and LOPA studies
* Prepare control flow charts and function descriptions for software development
* Align and jointly review the control interfaces to package units
* Be part of the commissioning, start-up, and optimization team
* Manage and define related template and standard specifications
* Clarify technical solutions, collect all required data, and review all deliverables
* Optimize system solutions according to our requirements with the suppliers
* Take responsibility to coordinate with all stakeholders
* Clarify, discuss, and present the technical solution to the customer
In your personal skillset, you have:
* Degree-level qualification in a process, automation, or control engineering discipline is a plus
* Minimum five years of experience as an I&C engineer or similar role; experience within the process or petrochemical industry is a plus
* Practical experience of plant commissioning is a must; knowledge to review and check PLC software is a plus
* Ability to consult with customers and suppliers about technical design requirements is expected
* Ability to explain design solutions in an engaging manner
* Strong communication, analytical, and planning skills
* Solution/team/customer-oriented with the confidence to act proactively
* Fluent in English; another European language is an advantage
* Willingness to travel for 3 days per month on average

In Austria, we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of €4,112.78 for this position. Depending on qualifications and professional experience, we offer you a market-based salary.
